Paul Sandercock appointed Independent Chairperson of Adelaide Hills Region Waste Management Authority

The Adelaide Hills Region Waste Management Authority (AHRWMA) welcomes Paul Sandercock as its new Independent Chairperson.

Paul brings with him over 30 years of high-level leadership experience across both public and private sectors, with a strong track record in sustainability, manufacturing transformation, and driving strategic performance. Currently the Managing Director of PPS Global, Paul has previously led SMR Technologies and Seed Terminator—where he steered the company from startup roots to international success as a leading agritech exporter.

His passion for innovation in the circular economy is evident through his two terms as a Board Member with Green Industries SA, where he played a key role in shaping South Australia’s resource recovery and sustainability strategies.

With senior executive experience across the automotive, energy, agriculture, and defence industries, and a background in international business, Paul brings a rare breadth of knowledge to the role. His systems thinking, collaborative leadership, and deep commitment to sustainable outcomes make him an ideal fit for guiding AHRWMA into its next chapter.

Paul is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds qualifications in business, operations, and industrial engineering.

His appointment comes at an exciting time for AHRWMA as the Authority sharpens its focus on innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable waste management solutions for the region.
