Young Driver Awareness Course

Young Driver Awareness Course Wednesday 9 October

This course is all about defensive driving.

The course covers defensive driving theory and improves driving technique with practical exercises. Learn things many instructors don't teach!

Learn about:

  • Braking & steering techniques
  • Safe following distance
  • Understand alcohol, distraction, peer pressure, fatigue
  • Accident avoidance

...and much more!

This course is subsidised to $50 per person by the Adelaide Hills Council, who are supporting Learner or P-plate drivers who live, work, go to school, play sports or volunteer in the Adelaide Hills Council District.

  • Participants will need to bring their own vehicle
  • Learners MUST be accompanied by a supervising driver (Please ensure the L's ticket is purchased as it includes your supervisor for our catering purposes.)
  • We encourage probationary drivers to be accompanied, but this is not essential; please book a ticket accordingly if you are bringing a supervisor. This is for catering purposes.
