A Supplementary Election will be held in February 2026 to fill the vacancy for Mayor of Adelaide Hills Council.

Supplementary Election: Mayor of Adelaide Hills Council

The upcoming Mayoral Supplementary Council Election is your opportunity to shape the future of your neighbourhood and council area. 

Supplementary elections are held between regular election cycles when a position becomes vacant. They help ensure the Council remains fully represented and can continue to serve the community effectively.

The Electoral Commissioner of South Australia manages all supplementary elections to ensure they are fair, transparent and run according to law.

Key dates:

Nominations Period: Thursday 20 November 2025 to 12pm Thursday 4 December 2025

Candidate Information Session:  24 November 2025 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Mailout and voting period: Tuesday 13 January 2026    12pm Monday 9 February 2026
